Save the Children Sweden

Save the Children affirms that adolescents have a right to age-appropriate sexual and reproductive health information, education, and services that enable them to deal positively and responsibly with their sexuality. The regional Sexual and Reproductive Health project’s goal is to enhance the protection of children and adolescents in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region from gender based violence (early marriage, Female Genital Mutilation and sexual abuse) through promoting their rights to sexual and reproductive health. This Case Study from Yemen focuses on the experiences of 14-year old Raufa, who decided to become actively involved in advocacy work in her community within the framework of the Yemen Programme.
