Bringing up children in a changing world. Who's right? Whose rights?

Written by members of Save the Children (Norway, US, UK) and UNICEF, and based on in-depth study in four Nepalese villages, the report is an account of early childhood development. The report covers many aspects of child, family and community life, drawing much of the information from detailed conversations with members of the four communities. Chapters cover: the context of the villages, child rearing beliefs and values, daily routines and responsibilities, reflections on child rights, and conclusions and recommendations for families and communities, district government and other agencies, and national policy in Early Child Development.
