The right to education is a fundamental human right. Public school education in Sweden is free, and all children should have the same right to access education, and to enjoy a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment, where they can find the opportunity to develop their talents and personality. Children also have the right to influence their education and school environment. This report centres on children’s right to specialised individual attention and educational support and is meant to be a contribution expected to stimulate further discussions on this topic.
