Youth in Action is a six-year learning and livelihood programme, aiming to improve the socioeconomic status of approximately 40,00 out-of-school young people in rural Burkina Faso, Egypt, Ethiopia, Malawi, and Uganda. Through the development of youth’s foundational skills, transferable skills, and entrepreneurship skills. they are empowered to make informed pathway choices for the future.

Youth in Action in Uganda aims to reach 11,050 youth aged 12-18 living in rural regions. This brief provides an overview of the findings and recommendations from an in-depth qualitative study of facilitation practices of the programme in Uganda, focusing specifically on best practices and how facilitator training affects these practices.
