Asia and the Pacific Regional Overview of Food Security and Nutrition: Placing nutrition at the centre of social protection

This report is a joint effort by the regional offices of four United Nations (UN) agencies that discusses recent developments and progress in Asia and the Pacific relevant to attaining the hunger, food security and nutrition objectives of SDG 2. This report also examines social protection and how it can be designed to better meet nutrition objectives and build resilience to shocks. SDG 2 aims to “end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.”
