Access to Education For Refugee and Migrant Children in Europe

This document presents the situation of refugee and migrant children who have recently arrived in Europe (since 2015). It provides an assessment of these children's education needs, profiles as well as the challenges and barriers they are facing when it comes to school enrolment and attendance. This document also identifies existing examples of good practice that could be implemented across Europe, and gives other recommendations on how to address the key barriers and challenges to migrant and refugee children's successful participation and integration into schools.
