Child Protection Minimum Standards in humanitarian action (CPMS)
The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action (formerly known as the Child Protection Working Group) launched the Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action in Geneva 2012. 22 member-organisations and agencies contributed to the production of the inter-agency standards, often referred to as the CPMS. These minimum standards - drafted with inputs from 400 individuals from 30 agencies in over 40 countries - are aimed at those working in child protection or related areas of humanitarian action.
