In order to improve its efforts, the Youth in Action Programme continuously seeks new ways to gain a better understanding of issues that youth face in livelihood development. In an effort to do this, the Programme collaborated with some of its alumni (girls) to conduct research on younger girls from age 12 to 14, to learn how they experience asset building within their households and communities.
The outcome of this process was the development of the “She Can Do” magazine, which covers issues related to livelihoods.
This resource includes a brief on the research efforts, a sample of the “She Can Do” magazine, as well as an informational video.
