The World We Want: A young person’s guide to the Global Goals for Sustainable Development

This publication presents the Global Goals for Sustainable Development that the United Nations’ Member States have identified as priorities for all people and the planet, in order to help build a better world for all, within the next 15 years. The leaders of these countries have done this with the support of millions of people and organisations around the world, including children and young people.

The purpose of this guide is to help children and youth understand the Goals, how they impact their lives and what they can do every day to help their government to achieve these Goals.

This document will also facilitate policy makers and other invested adults to communicate with children and youth on what the Global Goals mean to them, their opinions and concerns, and how the Goals can help create a better world for the future.

 

Este documento ayuda a comprender lo que piensan los niños, niñas, adolescentes y jóvenes acerca de estos Objetivos, lo que es más importante, los pasos que se deben tomar para mejorar la vida de todos y la manera en que podemos trabajar juntos para ayudar a lograr los Objetivos y a crear un mundo mejor para el presente y el futuro.
