This publication is part of the celebration of 25 years of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).
A statistical analysis is first given of progress in child rights since the adoption of the CRC. This study provides information on advances in child rights as well as areas of improvement and deficiency.
Leading researchers and actors in the field of child rights contribute their viewpoints with four articles. These articles cover four topics: the evolution of the CRC, delivery of promises on child rights, what it would mean to fulfil the CRC’s potential, and a call for increased child participation in the discussion on digital rights.
