Working with WLOs is a strategic priority embedded in system-wide commitments that guide UNHCR’s work. UNHCR is committed to putting forcibly displaced women and girls at the centre of our efforts, fully engaging and meaningfully including them in decisions affecting their lives. This guide provides practical guidance on promoting engagement with organisations led by women, particularly those led by forcibly displaced and stateless women. It is primarily directed at UNHCR staff, but is also of interest to partners, donors, and supporters.
