Women and Girls Safe Spaces: Technical guidance note for COVID-19

Women’s and girl’s safe spaces provide access to life-saving services, psychosocial support, referrals and information. In many communities, these spaces are trusted structures where women’s and girl’s physical and emotional safety is respected. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is likely that these spaces close. 

This guidance note aims to provide practical support to actors operating women’s and girl’s safe spaces on how to adapt to the context of COVID-19.
