What Happens Next: How Skills to Succeed Alumni Navigate Their Careers (Indonesia, 2026)

This brief presents findings from a 2025 longitudinal mixed‑methods evaluation of the Skills to Succeed program in Indonesia, tracking 247 alumni from East and West Java. The study examined employability skill retention, skill growth, and early‑career outcomes through surveys and in‑depth interviews.

Results show strong post‑program trajectories: 90.3% of alumni are employed or pursuing further education, with only 9.7% classified as NEET (not in education, employment, or training)—less than half the national NEET rate of 21.4%. Alumni are not only securing opportunities but progressing in them, with over 57% of employed graduates reporting salary increases, demonstrating sustained and growing impact beyond program completion.
