West and Central Africa Governance Programs: Empowering youth, strengthening civil society, and fostering inclusive governance

Save the Children has a long-standing presence in West and Central Africa, working across development, humanitarian and nexus contexts. Through a locally-led and rights-based approach, we strengthen governance systems while shifting power to children, youth, and local actors. With local civil society we share resources, convene, and broker dialogue between children and youth, communities, CSOs, and duty bearers and facilitate children and youth’s civic engagement to demand their rights.
