Welcome to the Safety Nets & Resilient Families priority learning series with a focus on Climate Crisis and Child Rights.
This webinar will provide a peer learning opportunity to better understand what child-centred climate finance is about and the challenges around establishing such climate finance mechanisms. You will get a chance to learn about what Save the Children’s public investment in children’s common approach offers and what UNCRC General Comment No. 26 (2023) says about States’ obligations to guarantee the rights of the child in the context of climate change. Hear from experiences from Zambia, Malawi and others about Child friendly information and Child and civil society-led advocacy on public budgeting in a changing climate.
This webinar is open to SC staff and partner organizations especially from the Sida-funded Global Civil Society Strengthening Program and is being co-hosted by How to Child Rights Series which will support professional interpretation into English, French and Spanish.
