Violence Against Children is no Longer Tolerated: Preventing and responding to all forms of violence and promoting family-based care

Save the Children believes that children have a right to live a life without violence, exploitation, abuse and neglect. That violence against children is still commonplace in 2015 is unacceptable. Save the Children advocates for an ambitious breakthrough for 2030, in which violence against children will no longer be tolerated.

This pamphlet presents an overview of Save the Children’s programmes to eliminate violence against children in East and Southern Africa. Some of the regional issues that make tackling violence against children difficult, such as children on the move, are presented along with key messages on violence against children.
