CHI, Child Helpline International
This report, published by Child Helpline International (CHI), illuminates some of the devastating realities that children and youth face on a daily basis. The data and analysis of this report is the product of directly listening to children and presenting it in a cohesive manner so that policy makers and administrators can make the changes necessary to protect children who suffer from violence.
Through its active work in establishing helplines for children across the globe, CHI has been able to present a broad analysis of the different types of violence against children, the different environments in which violence occurs, different causal factors, and regional data.
CHI actively works with partners to strengthen child protection systems and services at all governance levels. Through participating in campaigns, such as UNICEF’s #ENDviolence Campaign, CHI is pressing for child protection to be included in the post-2015 sustainable development goals agenda.
