The violation of the Rights of the Child and the International Protection

The document “The violation of the Rights of the Child and the International Protection” is the result of a combined effort of the regional government of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain) and Save the Children. The report shares information about the situation of boys and girls affected by armed conflict, child labour, child trafficking and domestic violence, with special attention given to the needs of girls affected by armed conflict. It promotes the right of asylum-seeking children/teenagers to apply for and receive international protection and informs about the mechanisms that are in place to protect them, the existing legal procedures in Spain, and the possibilities for legal action and legal aid.
