Vietnam Sponsorship Impact Brief (2025)

This impact brief documents the scale up and integration of Literacy Boost and Ready to Learn into Vietnam Government programs. From 2015 to 2024, Save the Children’s Sponsorship program introduced two proven, globally recognized and child-centered common approaches:

• Ready to Learn (RTL, formerly Early Literacy and Math): Strengthening preschoolers’ readiness across literacy, numeracy, motor, and socio-emotional skills.
• Literacy Boost (LB): Helping primary school children learn to read with fluency and comprehension through playful, active learning methods.

For the past ten years, these approaches were rolled out in 59 preschools and 74 primary schools, accompanied by training, coaching, parent workshops, reading camps, and home-learning activities.
