Using Innovative Mechanisms to Provide Quality Inclusive Education

This video, produced by Handicap International, shares the outcomes from an inclusive learning project being implemented in six West African countries, including Burkina Faso and Togo. Inclusive education in West Africa is a response to the great challenges of the ”education for all” mandate.

The innovative systems from this project have proven the most important thing: it is possible to induct children with disabilities in mainstream classes. This documentary was produced to showcase this reality and to convince governments that the next stage of the “education for all” agenda cannot be done without taking account of children with special educational needs.

The video calls for a more personalized, inclusive approach to education for children with disabilities.
