More humanitarian crises are taking place in urban context. While local organisations better understand this context, international organisations continue to dominate humanitarian interventions. The need to bridge this gap has been recognized, yet an understanding of how to do so is lacking.

This briefing shares the findings from a study that assessed existing partnerships between local and international actors in urban humanitarian contexts.
