Update on the Second Supplementary Report to the Philippine Report on the Implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child

Update on the Second Supplementary Report to the Philippine Report on the Implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, submitted by the Philippine NGO Coalition on Monitoring the Implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. This Update – submitted at the recommendation of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child – attempts to further substantiate and concretise the 2nd Supplementary Report by citing specific cases, where applicable. Information was culled through a series of island-wide regional consultative workshops organised in 2004 involving over 50 child-focused organisations and over 150 children and young people.
