Update on Children on the Move – June, 2011

A quarterly update of “Children on the Move”, a priority area within Save the Children’s Child Protection Initiative (CPI). The update provides information on upcoming activities, events, and other news related to Children on the Move programming, research and policy. Highlights this month include: news about the new OAK Foundation grant for Children on the Move work; summaries of the presentations of the Special Rapporteurs on the rights of migrants and trafficking to the Human Rights Council and how these relate to children; and a recap of the European Commission Migration Communication and Save the Children’s response.
