United Nations Security Council Resolution 1925 (2010)

The UN Security Council adopted this resolution at its 6324th meeting on 28 May 2010.  The resolution includes the decision to extend the mandate of MONUC until 30 June 2010 and further decides that, in view of the new phase that has been reached in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the United Nations mission in that country, MONUC, shall, as from 1 July 2010, bear the title of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO).
