Une Crise Insidieuse: L’éducation – une priorité négligée dans les urgences à évolution lente

In many countries, the lives of millions of children are compromised by the recurrence of slow-onset emergencies. As part of two ongoing chronic crises, the crisis in East Africa (since 2011) and the crisis in the Sahel region (since 2012), there is a steep decrease in the wellbeing of children. Insidious crisis focuses on the importance of education as a factor to mitigate the damage of the two crises.

The recommendations listed in this report are relevant to the context of the crises in the Sahel and East Africa, as well as for future crises of similar nature.
