A Study that examines the situation and context of children in conflict with the law (CICL) in Davao city and their experiences with the juvenile justice system. The study reveals many gaps and limitations within the justice system in terms of justice administration for CICL. These include: absence of standard procedure for handling cases of CICL at the barangay level; violation of protocols in the handling of children; absence of policies or guidelines for case settlements at the level of the police; and unclear roles and functions of court social workers
