Ujyalo Community peace promotion

UJYALO has been a unique peace promotion program reaching conflict affected communities across the Far, Mid and Western regions of Nepal. The program has been successful in ensuring the inclusion and active participation of women and lower castes and ethnic groups in making decisions of social and economic matters. UJYALO is a partnership of 5 INGOs (Save the Children, CARE, International Development Enterprises, the Asia Foundation, Winrock), as well as a large number of district level NGOs and community groups.
