Training Module on Gender Mainstreaming in Youth Livelihood Programs

This training module was adapted from Save the Children’s Gender Mainstreaming Program Guidance and Toolkit for the Youth in Action Program supported by MasterCard Foundation. Promoting gender equality is an integral part of youth livelihoods programming. Young women and men, girls and boys, have different experiences, needs, interests and aspirations which should be taken into account when designing any program. As trainers and development workers, we need to ensure that the impact of our activities causes no harm to the lives of young women and men and that indeed our actions are having a positive impact on gender relations.
