Children in conflict with the law are often at risk of violence, abuse and the denial of their rights at every stage of the criminal justice process.This Training Manual and PRI Toolkit have been published thanks to the technical assistance of the European Union and the British Embassy in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, within the framework of PRI’s project “Strengthening institutions and building civil society capacity to combat torture in 9 CIS countries”, intended to help prevent torture and ill treatment in prisons and other places where people are deprived of their liberty.
