Towards a locally led transformation: Promising practices in Latin America and the Caribbean

To meet our 2030 ambition to ensure that all children survive, learn, and are protected, we must work together with local and national actors. Our role as Save the Children in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) is complementary to and supportive of what local and national actors already do to ensure children’s rights. In the LAC region, we are committed to shifting power to local actors, ensuring that local and national actors can participate, access funding, co-lead coordination mechanisms, influence policies, become more visible and be engaged in equitable partnerships.
