𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐀 𝟓 is more than just an animated film : it’s a wake-up call for the protection of children and the defense of their rights. As the fifth installment of the « 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐀 » series, initiated by the African Movement of Working Children and Youth (MAEJT), this film sheds light on the often-overlooked reality of child labor in formal and informal businesses, markets, apprenticeship workshops, and many other sectors. Through the gripping story of five children sent out to sea to fish, only to face a tragic shipwreck with just one survivor, 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐀 𝟓 powerfully illustrates the dangers these young workers endure. In response to this tragedy, children unite, organize a peaceful march, and demand urgent change.
