A tool for change? Reporting to the UN Committee on the rights of the child: briefing report

The UNCRC is the heart of Save the Children’s work. Monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the UNCRC in countries where Save the Children operate, therefore appears to be a logical component of the programme activities. After achieving almost universal ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the real challenge lies now in the realisation of children’s rights in their daily lives.
