This presentation will share locally meaningful learning on social norms with communities in Niger. To develop a contextualized social and behavior change (SBC) strategy, the USAID Kulawa project conducted a formative assessment on the social norms that influence the adoption of key behaviors: exclusive breastfeeding and the use of modern methods of contraception among young married and unmarried women (age 15-24), including first-time mothers.
Presentation for the 2024 Africa SBC Summit.
