The Partnership With Local Authorities in Responding to Humanitarian Crisis: The case of Lebanon: Lessons learned and recommendations

As local authorities are closer to citizens compared to other public institution, they play a key role as catalyst for change. This study aims to reflect on the partnership with local authorities for responding to emergencies and linking relief and rehabilitation to development activities. More particularly, it critically assesses the experience of Oxfam Italia of working in partnership with local authorities for responding to the Syrian refugee crisis in Lebanon.
