The Impact of Palanhar Plus on Children’s Social-Emotional Learning and Caregivers Parenting Outcomes in Dungarpur

This report presents the results from a quasi-experimental evaluation of a parenting programme implemented with beneficiaries of the government Palanhar Yojana in Rajasthan, India. Palanhar Yojana (caregiver scheme) is a state government cash transfer programme aimed at promoting development of orphans and other vulnerable children. The focus of the study is to understand whether the parenting programme resulted in changing parental behaviour and whether there was an impact on children’s social and emotional development.
