The Guiding Framework on Accountability for Violations and Crimes Affecting Children in Situation of Armed Conflict (“Guiding Framework”) is focused on accountability for violence against and affecting children in situations of armed conflict. It is a tool designed to inform and support the mainstreaming of child-sensitive and child-rights affirming methodologies for those engaged in or supporting the documentation and investigation of violations and crimes against and affecting children in situations of armed conflict.
