The humanitarian system is standing at a critical juncture, as echoed in the Humanitarian Reset, translating to a crisis of legitimacy, morale, and funding. With rising geopolitical instability, climate shocks, and shifting donor priorities, reform is not just urgent – it’s essential. To capture perspectives on this pivotal moment, OCHA launched a global survey. Reaching across international and humanitarian organisations, the UN Secretariat and its agencies, local organisations and community-based organisations, national governments, academia, and the private sector, the survey gathered diverse insights to inform the sector. It aimed to give voice to the broader humanitarian community and offer them a seat at the table in shaping the future of the system.
