Technical Brief: Community Change Through Gender Champions (2026)

This brief highlights Save the Children Nigeria’s Gender Champions approach, which promotes gender equality and social inclusion through community-led dialogue, awareness raising, and advocacy. Working with community leaders, women leaders, youth leaders, and other influential stakeholders, the initiative addresses harmful gender norms, discriminatory practices, barriers to girls’ education, and child marriage.
