This week we share a blog about how the Change Fund provides grants to local organisations in the Global South. Governed by local leaders, demand-driven and peer-led, the Change Fund “adapts to local priorities not donor cycles”, enabling fast responses and community-rooted solutions. The Change Fund model sparks fundamental questions about the future of the aid sector. These include what impact could be achieved if funds were locally designed and managed, and if governance were local?
