Sustainability of CHAON-I

Save the Children implemented a child rights program, titled CHAON “Children’s Action against Oppression and Neglect”, in 200 villages of Muzaffarghar (Punjab) and 150 villages of Sanghar (Sindh) from 2009 to 2014. This project was implemented in partnership with the IKEA Foundation. The lives of 199,000 children were improved by providing protection from abuse, violence, exploitation, and neglect through interventions in four thematic areas i.e. Education, Health, Child Protection and Economic Empowerment.
