Supporting Community-Led Negotiation Over Access to Resources, Goods and Services in Colombia

Research led by the Civil-Military and Access Initiative at Save the Children Sweden in collaboration with the Norwegian Refugee Council examines the deprivation of basic resources, goods and services and the protection issues experienced by children and their families during the armed conflicts in Colombia. This interesting study shares evidence of how community members especially women in leadership positions are able to conduct successful negotiations with non-state armed groups to gain access to resources.
