The humanitarian crisis in Sudan has worsened, with 24.8 million people, including 13.6 million children, in need of assistance. In 2024, UNICEF provided critical support, including health services to 1.91 million children and women, nutrition interventions for 431,015 children with severe acute malnutrition, and improved WASH services for 9.8 million people. Despite these efforts, the response remains underfunded, with only 58% of the required funding met, highlighting the urgent need for continued resource mobilization to support vulnerable populations.
