Strengthening Social Protection in Vanuatu

This note outlines insights from consultations that Save the Children commissioned to understand how to support the Government of Vanuatu to develop a national social protection system. The consultations reveal broad support for formal social protection to complement existing informal support mechanisms and identify politically significant concerns that formal social protection can help to address.
