In Kenya & Madagascar, we aim to address the multiple threats to food and nutritional security. The clear link between shocks and hunger reveals the fragility of current food production systems and their vulnerability to disruptions. To break this cycle, it is necessary to protect livelihoods from shocks, and to make food production systems more resilient and more capable of absorbing the impact of, and recovering from, disruptive events and to secure sustainable development gains.
