From strength to strength – Children’s initiatives and organisations, South and Central Asia

This publication is the result of the outcome of the interaction between children from 14 child-led organisations in South and Central Asia, who met for a workshop held in Kathmandu in 2004 with the purpose of sharing and exchanging experiences from their work through actions and pictures that address rights violations. The Workshop – targeted towards the 14-18 age group – is a further development of the work of Save the Children in South and Central Asia on Children, Citizenship and Governance, and is primarily aimed at enhancing the potential and capacity of children and, at the same time, make adults understand the importance of listening to children and act accordingly.
