State of the World’s Mothers 2001 Report

The 2001 State of the World ’s Mothers report provides new and updated information for the Mothers ’ Index, comparing the well-being of mothers and children in 94 countries. With the introduction of a new “Girls’ Investment Index,” the report focuses on the quality of girls’ and young women’s lives today, and thus provides an indication of how the next generation of mothers and children will fare.
