This report presents the process and findings of a Social Norms Exploration (SNE) conducted in 2019 in selected communities in Gombe, Katsina and Zamfara states in Nigeria. The broad objective of this SNE was to have an in-depth understanding of the social norms that influence the practices of child early and forced marriage, intimate partner violence, use of modern contraceptives and joint house hold decision making. The findings of this survey were used to inform additional formative strategic behaviour change (SBC) activities and subsequent program adaptation for the REACH and TECM projects.
