This booklet is a practical conversation tool for parents and caregivers who want to talk with children and youth about their digital lives. Rather than providing rules or technical advice, it helps adults start meaningful dialogue about both the opportunities and challenges children and youth encounter online. The booklet offers conversation prompts and guidance on topics such as pressure, online relationships, sharing content, boundaries, and respectful behavior online. It is built on the understanding that children benefit most from trusted adults who listen with curiosity, ask open questions, and create a safe space for discussion. Parents do not need to have all the answers or be experts in technology; the goal is to strengthen communication and trust so that children feel comfortable seeking support when something is troubling them. The booklet can also be used by teachers, school nurses, youth workers, and other professionals as a resource for individual conversations or group discussions about online experiences and safety.
