Millions of children with disabilities worldwide continue to face neglect and marginalization due to limited data. Despite international conventions and goals, these children often remain invisible in official statistics, exacerbating their exclusion and rights violations. Recent efforts have focused on generating reliable and comparable data, leading to new tools like the Child Functioning Module and increased data availability.

This publication presents over 60 indicators of child well-being, including the first global and regional estimates of children with disabilities. It emphasizes the urgent need for inclusion and the positive impact that children with disabilities can have on society.
