SCN Climate Initiative – Green Generation End of Project Evaluation (Lebanon, 2026)

This end‑of‑project evaluation assesses the Green Generation climate initiative implemented by Save the Children in Lebanon between May 2024 and June 2025. The pilot aimed to strengthen children’s environmental awareness and climate resilience through a contextualized, child‑centred curriculum delivered across formal, non‑formal, and community learning settings. Using a mixed‑methods approach combining pre‑ and post‑KAP surveys, focus group discussions, and key informant interviews, the evaluation finds strong relevance to children’s lived realities and significant learning gains in key thematic areas. The report concludes that Green Generation provides a solid foundation for child‑centred climate education in Lebanon, while identifying targeted adaptations needed to support effective scale‑up.
